Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

❤️ MORE (lovemore.hr) is a platform for reporting violations on the Adriatic Sea and its maritime domain. We process your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. What data we collect

• Email address — required, to send submission confirmation and status updates
• Full name — optional, for authorities to contact you
• Phone number — optional, alternative contact
• GPS coordinates — to route the report to the correct harbor authority
• Photo or video — evidence of the violation, forwarded to authorities
• EXIF metadata — camera model, capture date, automatically read from the photo to verify authenticity
• SHA-256 media hash — cryptographic fingerprint for proving authenticity in legal proceedings

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process your data solely to forward violation reports to the relevant authorities (harbor captaincies, maritime police, HGSS, etc.). The legal basis is legitimate interest in protecting the marine environment and public property (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Data sharing

Your data is never shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Reports (including contact details and media evidence) are forwarded exclusively to relevant government institutions. Social media posts contain only the violation type, location, and reference number — no personal data and no media content.

5. Retention and deletion

Media files (photos/videos) are stored temporarily for forwarding and automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours of being sent. Report data (without media) is retained for 2 years from submission, after which it is automatically deleted.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Rectification of inaccurate data
• Erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• Restriction of processing
• Object to processing

7. Security

All data is transmitted exclusively over encrypted HTTPS. Media files are stored in a secure cloud environment with restricted access and deleted automatically after forwarding.
